Android Portal

On some systems (depending on what’s associated with the .jar file extension) the android.jar file in the SDK directory may come up as an “executable jar file”. If you’ve been trying to run it with little success, there’s a very good reason for that: You’re not supposed to run it!

 Simply grab Eclipse, install the Android plugin for Eclipse, point it to the SDK directory and you’ll be all set!
